Herbal cosmetics or organic cosmetics have been used for beauty since ancient times.
It is considered best for the skin and hair because it has no side effects and artificial chemicals. There is no surprise that organic products are preferred in general to their cheaper and synthetic variants. Few of the most noticeable benefits are, but not limited to:
- Smooth and supple skin
- Improves cell function which slows down the aging of the cells
- Moisturises the skin without giving it a greasy feel
- Improves overall the skin health
Of course it depends on the ingredients and we should always check them to make sure we are not allergic to any of them.
The main difference between organic products and synthetic products is the effect they have on us. One way to recognize a synthetic product without reading the label is to look for the effect it leaves.
Usually they give fast but very short results. Organic products on the other hand, provide a slower but much more lasting effect. That is because the organic elements can go deeper into the skin and nourish it. Also depending on the active organic ingredients, the benefits for the skin are different. Some nourish some hydrate, some heal, and so on.
Their benefits are so much that we really cannot cover them all.
Using all of that knowledge and our experience in the past five years, we decided to create an organic version of one of the most used products during the COVID-19 outbreak. Hand sanitizers.
Our main focus was to have an organic product that can nourish, hydrate, and support healthy skin while also protecting it and kill 99.9% of all germs and bacteria. And so we developed our first organic antibacterial hand sanitizer. Fully tested, certified, and approved.
The motivation behind our organic antibacterial hand gel was born when we saw how many cheap alcohol-based hand sanitizers are being used. The problem with hand sanitizers that do not have any ingredients to support the skin is that the alcohol leaves the skin very dry and for some people this can become a problem. Cracks on the skin will start to appear and some of those cracks can be very painful and healing can be very slow. Not to mention the alcohol-only hand sanitizers smell leave, it is not pleasant.
To recap, when it comes to choosing hand sanitizer or skincare cream or anything else related to the skin, consider checking for organic variants of those products. They are better for the skin and we should take care of it because it is the largest organ in our bodies. The skin absorbs everything we put on it so we might be unknowingly applying chemicals that may be toxic. We will explore that in more detail in another blog post, until then you can read more about us and what is our mission and you can also read more about our organic products.
